PM and Coupons and SCOP - Oh My!! :)

Just a little brag from this evening!! My local Walmart didn't carry the regular Heinz baby foods without milk, so they let me PM the Organic cereals to RCSS at 2/$6. After 2 x $1.50 coupons, my total was $3!

I ducked into SDM to pick up the Gravol they had on sale for $3, and found the one listed in the flyer. On the tag, though, it still was listed for $8.49. Sure enough, it came up at regular price so I mentioned the SCOP and got it for free! I also found some Milk Duds on clearance for $1 a box...mmmm!! A reward for a good shopping trip!!

So all together, my total was $6.36 for all of the items below!!

Does Heinz have baby cereal now with milk in it? Is that new? My littlest is just going to start cereal, but I don't remember Heinz having milk in it, maybe they changed when they changed the packaging?

Oh my goodness!! Yes, they're awesome milk chocolate around chewy caramel...mmmm!! I think they're similar to Junior Caramels ? I actually had some of one of the boxes gone before I even got out of the SDM parking lot

It depends on the labeling on the cereal. The ones that say "Add Water" have modified milk ingredients of some kind. The ones that are labeled "Add Breast Milk or Formula" usually do not. The Heinz ones are still made in a factory that also processes milk ingredients, so they wouldn't be suitable for a baby with a really severe milk allergy. We don't give our babies milk products until after their first birthday due to a history in the family, but we're willing to take our chances with the ones that don't list milk in the ingredients and just say "may have come in contact with milk products".
