Quick! Send a message to Listia, they will change your address to the right postal code. It may take until Monday, because of the weekend now.
The problem is that it's now in the rules that sellers must send to your Listia "verified" (LOL!) address. The other problem is they use google maps to verify addresses, and the postal codes are always just a bit off. The good news is you only have to have it fixed once.
The bad news is, depending on this seller, if you haven't provided them with an address via Listia within 7 days, they can keep the credits and the item. If you dispute, Listia will side with the seller because you never provided a Listia verified address, as per their terms.
Many sellers will ship anyways if you message them the right postal code, but quite a few have been burned, and lost their credits after shipping to an address that was messaged to them. If the buyer requests a refund, in that instance Listia would side against the seller for not following guidelines, even though the item was shipped, and even if they have tracking.
I think the whole "Listia verified address" is a joke, seeing as how it's wrong 99% of the time, then people he to write them, but not much we can do about it.

anawhatsme, Listia did the same thing to my address. Also, an auction I had listed, the winner had the same problem. We both did what Hogama suggested and just messaged the correct postal code, with no problem.
Anyone familar with Listia knows about this problem.
I did write to them about it and they did fix it, too bad though that they won't acknowledge these messages!
I did have a problem with one auction, which I've already detailed on this thread. But it's only taught me to be careful and really pay attention to the wording of every auction I might be interested in. In other words, I've listened to Giving-Small's and Hogama's suggestions and I continue to enjoy the Listia site.
Now to back track and check out all the auctions you folks have posted so I can start bidding again.
AND I have to figure out what I'm going to list today to get those EXTRA credits!!!!

hogama - you beat me to it!!!
I couldn't think of what else to auction so I was going to list icoke pins!
Oh well, maybe another time.
I would like to list more auctions but I don't want to fall into the postage trap.
I've learned my lesson about "Free Shipping to the US" unless it's just a regular envelope, I won't be doing that again.
I have some samples of Purex and Woolite but I just wonder if they would be allowed and/or popular enough to bother. Or maybe a small packet of assorted samples.
What do all of you think????

Go for the iCoke, kimmie! Lots of people use those... I have done auctions for sample packs of Gain. I'd get 200+ credits for them... and they'd cost $2 & change to send to the states. Not exactly worth it... but that's up to you! I've also done a large card envelope stuffed with samples (yet thin enough to fit in the slot thingy at the Post Office), with free shipping and got 400 credits for that. It takes a lot of trial & error to find out what's right for you! I also got burned on the postage thing. My very first auction was for some diapers that my son outgrew... so I listed them... and it came to $12.xx to ship them to the States. woah!!! I didn't make that mistake again!!

Okay...I need everyones help with this.
Five days ago I won an Amazon.com gift code. The lady sent it to me, but it would not work --- said the code was invalid or something like that. I contacted her, she called amazon, and they apparently said that it had been redeemed but of course would not tell anythin about my account. She asked if I would call them. I did and they told me that the code was not valid. I have contacted the seller again but have not heard anything from her.
What should I do next...I want to be fair, sometimes computer things get messed up, and I'm one of those people who always try to believe the best of others. But at the same time, I would like either my $1.00 code or my points back. How long should I wait for her reply?Check it out...a 50 point bonus when you use my referral: http://superpoints.com/join/4ji930

Hopefully you resolved this already! I lost this thread in the upgrade...
File a dispute! If you haven't gotten a working code, odds are it was a scam. If a code has been claimed already, it will say that when you try to redeem. If it is invalid, it hasn't been claimed - it was never a valid code. Don't feel bad.
