i need a sewing room.. i do all my sewing in the livingroom so i'm forced to put it all away every evening.. i got a fair system though with how i spread it all out

if i can get halfway ok lighting somewhere in this place i'll snap a picture of it.. i want to take the same idea as the ruffling of the tulle what i do on the bottom and do it in rows up a skirt so it would be like tiers of hot pink ruffles all the way down a skirt, with a simple top half

Same all mine is in the kitchen. I won't have a sewing room til the kids aregrown or we move though, so I'm not holding my breath.

Nice, I have my serger and my sewing machine plus a snap press, all up in a cupboard plus drawers and bins for all the rest I just use the kitchen table and I'm good to go

ohh what i wouldn't give for a serger.. but i have no place to put one.. if i had a serger it would make doing a chiffon crinoline a snap! i have the fabric.. but no serger and i can't roll that much hem.. i'd go mad

the dorothy costume only came to be because i bought the fabric three years previously to do a skirt for my sister's wedding (she had a country shot gun wedding.. groom was literly kicked to the alter by my grandfather holding a toy shut gun)
