LMAO! Yes I do it all the time...not so much looking into people's carts, but when they are at the cash register and their items are going down the conveyer belt, I'm thinking to myself 'I have a coupon for that...and that...and that too!' and I'm calculating in my head what I would have saved! Sometimes I will give coupons to them, depending on how friendly/receptive they seem.
That's obsession or scary....or both! LOL! Or when you dream about coupons! Has anyone done that? It's happened to me at least twice that I know of...LOL! *shaking my head in shame*Join Swagbucks: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/jojoskelowna

I've dreamt about coupons J, but what's even funnier is DH the other night did too! See the day before we were on a mission to find the cheap Venus Embrace at Wal-Mart so I could finish up my shelter packs, but alas we only found two, so I guess DH in his dream, being a night assistant manager at Wal-Mart and all, dreamt that while on shift he found a whole skid of Venus Embrace razors! *LOL* Bless his heart, he was moved by my plight and trying to help me out, I'll be it, in his dreams

I am on good terms with my ex and sometimes we will go shopping where I play Director, lol
and he does exactly what you just said... goes to pay $20.00 for razor blades, etc. And I have to shake him and say, "Are you nuts? That is not a good price!" He has no clue what stuff is supposed to cost, does not stockpile at all, like most guys, just buys stuff as he needs it.
I have given him coupons for stuff or at least pointed things out in that store flyer, and say "Look, get this one. It's $7.00 cheaper and it's the same thing!" (He doesn't even look at sale stickers on the shelf, he just grabs what he normally buys)
Of course he's always happy after I point this stuff out and he sees that he is saving money, he just does not have a clue.

What I can't believe is when I'm in line at Safeway and the person ahead of me doesn't have a Safeway Club card. So, they pay all the higher prices on most things. Same thing at other places like Save On or whatever. Occasionally I've offered my card, then it gets them the lower prices and me some points.

I stalked a lady last night at WM.

We were in the TP aisle together, I was there to get my free Majesta and she was trying to decide which TP to get.
When she finally decided and was walking by, I handed her a coupon and took off.
I like giving coupons to people but I don't stick around to hear "thank you" - I'm usually already outta there.

I don't care if I sound crazy to others!! I will stop people in store and make them wait for me to hunt down a coupon they should use. Ha. Ha. just saying that makes me think I am crazy. Doesn't it? oh well, everyone i stopped are so greatful. My husband just waits for me ( what a sweet man) While a tell them where they should go to find their own coupons. There is a coupon fairy at my walmart that leaves different coupons around the store. I thank whoever you are, from everyone that has found your coupons!!!

LOL that's weird I also caught myself doing that the other day when I was at WM. I gave this little old lady some of my coupons and she was grateful. I make sure I give out manufacturer's coupons 'cause you know how some cashier will not take printables so I don't want the person I tried to help feel embarrassed for trying to use a printable.

I look all the time, most to see if I want to buy something.

Yes, there's definitely that. I generally shop at Sobeys (Atlantic Canada offers Air Miles), but I don't have a car. If there's a good deal at Superstore, I will go there instead and pick up most other things I need there too. As long as there isn't a GREAT deal on those other things at Sobeys!

My DH is very thrifty about a lot of things, but just doesn't have a clue when it comes to groceries. He'll just pick the first item he sees, doesn't even look for the coupons.
And yes, I will give coupons to people in the store. If I see someone in front of a display of something trying to decide, I'll give them one if I have spares. This happens a lot in the checkout too. Maybe they think I'm nuts, but then they know the truth!

While waiting in line, I do cringe from time to time... especially if the person in front of me 1) isn't shopping sale items and 2) not using coupons either.
Double whammy.
