Oohhh, I just thought of something.
My husband's card got 'canceled' because a store was 'under suspicion' about 3 weeks ago. He had to get a new one, but it was really simple.
I wonder if maybe it was because of something like this? Maybe you should also let your bank know, so they can do an investigation into it.

Thanks for the tip. I think I'll just stick with this thread though -- it seems to be working out okay. Poor Boo gets bothered enough already.

Thanks for the tip. I've heard of that happening, but I think it happens when the store has a card reader, steals your card # and pin and makes unauthorized charges to your account. Happened to a guy I used to work with. Luckily I watch my bank account like a hawk... you can't be too careful these days.

I know someone who was charged for a cashback they didn't receive - after they complained they found out there had been a few other people complain of the same with that cashier, who was eventually fired. It is so easy for the cashier to do, and we all have moments where we are distracted. Always worth following up on a complain about this to keep other people from experiencing the same!

You mean you submitted this to the SC blog?
Hey you too? I swear working as a cashier, is so beneficial for couponing and seeing mistakes and such in future, i also always use the " I was a cashier, i know the rules " whenever i get into arguments, and it always works.
