yeah the Mexicans were working in places like construction and oil and hotels I think? I had heard that Wendys actually brought up some Mexicans as well. it was weird.

haha Patty yeah that sounds about right. A condo was costing about 300,000 on average and that was some of the nicer ones but there were condos being sold privately for like 400,000 also. Condos are not even homes! lol but Edmonton was a lot more expensive. My sister and her husband managed to get a starter home for 340,000 I think it was.

but the costs have gone down again a bit. the thing is people got greedy and rose prices where ever they could and homes were in extremely short supply and so people were able to charge what they wanted. The waits for a new home were over a year easily.
