iPhone / iPod App for SmartCanucks Forum

Hi everyone

There seemed to be a lot of interest in having an iPhone and iPod App for SmartCanucks forum. I subscribed the forum with Tapatalk which provides this service.

The have a free app that allows you to view everything on here. If however you want to be able to contribute from the app you'll need to get the full version for $2.99.

Please try out this app (at least the free version) and let me know if it's what you were looking for. You need to get Tapatalk app, add it to your iPhone and then search for smartcanucks.

I haven't tried it out myself so I'm looking forward to hearing how good it is from you!

I do have an iPhone but it's v1 with the mirror back and i'm too lazy to upgrade the firmware version to add new apps.

I just downloaded the full version and this is my very first post with the new SC app! I am so happy! I mentioned something about an app for SC when I first got my iPhone last August!

I wonder if it will show my regular signature or if I have to make a new
one or something? I guess we will find out when I hit the send button!!

I have been playing around with the app for a few minutes and it is very user friendly, easy to figure out and SO SO SO much better then using safari on the iPhone!!!!!!!!!

Great, now I am going to be even more addicted to SC!!!!!

Edit: (This edit is typed on the computer- the above message from my iPhone) So it does insert your regular signature. I think I would like to have it say “Posted from my iPhone” or something like that (just in case there are lots of spelling mistakes, it makes more sense when you are typing on a phone and there are more typos!) I guess you could manually write something at the end of it though!!

I think you can also upload pictures!! I testing it out now! It would be awesome because now when I'm out and find a good deal I can snap a photo and upload it to the site super fast!!

The photo is a test, it's an old deal I had the picture in my photo library on my phone FYI!!!

I just tried some HTML code to bold the above statement.... We will see if it worked!!!!

Oh this is wonderful! I got my IPOD Touch for Xmas & miss being on SC when I'm out, lol Will certainly give it a try!

I dont know about Kingston, but there are stores here in toronto, that would update it for you for $5. Also on iTunes when you plug it in, theres a button that will say Update.. just click and it will do it all for you hassle'free. It will keep your settings, music and all.
