I'm still working through the nervousness of stacking coupons and using printables. I keep quiet about my coupon obsession, letting only family and a handful of friends know about it. I don't blab about it all over work, etc. Not that I am ashamed of it, although at times it seems as though it's unfair to use so many printables at once.
What I would like to know is, are there others out there like me? Stacking is not a secret, but known mostly by people like sc'ers. I could be just a very secretive person and mind my own business more than usual....
I'm certainly not shy about it here, as you guys are like family!
So, I'm curious if I just have anxiety and paranoia over this..... for nothing.
Can you share your thoughts? TIAThis thread is currently associated with: N/A

I'm kinda the same way as you. I'll talk about it with my family (they get me a lot of coupons!) but I don't usually bring it up with friends. Some of them know because my hubby brings it up. Now a few of them even want to try themselves. It's hard sometimes though not to say anything when you score a great deal

I get nervous everytime I go to the store to stack. Until I know who my cashier will be, I'm stressed out

My family knows, and some close friends know. Actually more people than I care to let know, know because DH tells everyone that I am a coupon nazi and OMG look at her humungous book of coupons the weirdo, lol. Jokes on him, I save major moola!
I get nervous stacking too, lol. It's getting better though.

I would say I'm on the timid, quiet side....very shy and still a novice....in the closet .... don't think I could attempt to stack...
LMFAO! Who is looking at their screen with this face?
or this one
Yeah I'm totally not shy about it! Never felt embarrassed or that stigma some people can't get over....you know those people who wouldn't leave a dollar laying on the counter, but would also never use a $1 coupon!

I am usually a shy person but when it comes to my coupons I come out a little more that usual occasionally. LD stacking still makes me nervous I think its because I need to shop more

I like going shopping, using coupons and getting out of there quickly. I get anxious when cashiers interrogate me, bring over managers, wave it around like it's a fake currency or something. I don't need the parade.
I wouldn't say I am "proud" I don't bring my relatives around and show them my stockpile (I don't have one) or point out how much I got this and that for. But I have freebies and stuff sent to my mom and my bf's mom's house, so they know I am up to something

Sounds just like my hubby when people come over. He always asks, so have you seen her stash yet, she's got tons of stuff. He tells me to bring out my folder so they can see just how many coupons I have. Hubby thinks it's the best hobby I've ever had cause I save money and he's so cheap

Also the reason I only use printables at walmart now. They dont' usually question it, the others do.
I sorta rest in the middle. I don't mind giving coupons to people in line at the cash and I get my mom and siblings to save them for me but I don't really brag about my deals or have a huge stock pile. I do like saving though!

Still in the closet with friends.
I'm comfortable at stores, with the exception of the whole stacking thing - did it once - need to work up some nerve to try it again."Far over the misty mountains cold, to dungeons deep and caverns old,
We must away ere break of day, to seek the pale enchanted gold."
