When I was a kid, we actually had burglers break in and eat 4 L pail of ice cream. They left the empty pail and 3 dirty spoons! They also took valuable stuff, but burglers really do eat treats.

We must have lived in the same town because we were burgled when I was really little too. My parents had a food establishment and they took a lot of frozen foods as well as cash, and whatever they could find. Your burglars must have broken in on a hot day!

I told him it'd be pretty stange that the only thing they took is a $4 bag of treats when he has some expensive equipment he uses for work lying around. He argued that these are *really* good treats and we're obviously dealing with burglars with high standards.

P.S. Please don't tell DH people break in for ice cream. He'll have an alarm installed on the freezer....
