isn't that similar to not complain about your food to the chef or send your food back because you might get an extra surprise on your plate

Since I moved I have had 9 "lost" packages (from ebay purchases, etc) in the mail (when I call and complain to Canada post, I get the whole "if it wasn't insured we can't do anything") I send mail to my parents, to have it arrive slit open and the contents removed. Apparently, if it isn't sent parcel, and insured, it means postal carriers are free to take it!

Yeah, I know... but, then, I don't think the problem is AT my actual post office, and I don't HAVE a mail carrier (I have a CP, PO box), and the box is on the base at the Canex... Lol, I highly doubt that THEY are taking my mail! I used to be an obsessed ebay shopper, but since I have lost so many packages since we moved here last oct. I have stopped buying things online, unless they send parcel, and insured (which costs a lot more!)... sellers are not to impressed to refund you when the package goes missing, and it ISN'T their fault! I just think I have terrible luck! I sent two packages to a friend in the states 3 months ago, who just had a new baby, and NEITHER made it. Birthday and xmas presents to my family got lost, and ONE made it, but when received, the bubble package was slit open, (perfectly, like with an xacto knife) and the contents removed. My mom had a FIT at the post office, but again, nothing they can do. Letter mail is NOT insured!
Either way, Apparently Canada posts hates me... I don't know ANYONE else that has this happen to them! I've asked around on base, but so far, no one is in my boat. Gilly and the rain cloud over her head;(
