Where to find steam cleaners for couches/sofas?

Where do you guys buy/rent steam cleaners for your couches/sofas?

Our couch is pretty old but I'd still like to keep it clean. Our vacuum just wouldn't have enough power to clean it, and plus it can't reach the corners.

I wouldn't bother with the ones in grocery stores, in my experience they're junk. They're not maintained, they're often broken or missing parts.

There are companies that will come in and do it for you...I believe Sears may be one... try the yellow pages or ask some co-workers/friend if they know if anyone reliable.

We had our couch and chair done when we got our carpet cleaned. Gosh, it made a HUGE difference!

Thank you guys for your help! How much does it cost normally to rent equipment from say Sears for this kind of stuff?

i went to home depot today to find out about renting a carpet cleaner.
it was roughly $21 for 4 hours, and 30-something for 24 hours. you do have to buy the cleaning solution on top of that. the machine comes with an upholstery attachment.
the guy told me tho, that if i come to rent the machine a few minutes after the 4 hour window for same day returning, i would get to keep the machine overnight.
they seem to maintain their equipment, because a lot of ppl rent from them, we rented floor sanders from them this past summer, and had no complaints.
