I am soooo excited!!! I am actually raking leaves! The past two yrs I have missed out because of the surgeries I was too weak but this yr I can sort of rake leaves!!!!!!!! I can't do it very fast or very long but I am doing it! It's funny something doesn't seem so much like a chore when you haven't been able to do it for so long!

i have a lot of leftovers from yesterday my brother is coming over for dinner today i have never done this b4 but would it be ok if i served the same thing and add some more dishes?

Wondering how it went for RobynCD with the little one? I remeber telling my son his best friend had died suddenly when they were 7. I seem to remember someone once said (can't remember where I saw this) that when telling kids about death the important thing was to make sure they knew it could not happen to them because that's their first biggest fear. They said you should emphasize dramatically your words. I told kevin that his friend died because he was very, very, very sick and noone could hep him. This is what they meant by exagerating the words. Do you know what I mean? So for example Grandma was very, very, very old and very, very sick. I guess it depends on what your kid can handle too and of course their age.

It wasn't that bad. He's only 3.5 so I'm not sure how much he understands. I just told him that we couldn't go visit Aunty anymore because she died because she was very sick. He was sad and I told him that we will get to see her again some day when we get to go to Heaven and be with God.

that sounds really well put-I hope you and him don't feel sad for too long. How are you doing with your aunt dying? You have talked about your son-how are you coping?

I'm doing okay, better today than I was last night. DH is gone, so its just me and the little dudes home, so I had to snuggle with the dog...lol. He's very comforting, and even snores just like DH! It was just a bad day in general yesterday.

I think I'm going to run down to the post office to check the mail. And by run I mean drive. Maybe when I get home all the housework that I have been neglecting all day will have been done by magic little elves!

Quiet night in - DS decided he is not going to the high school dance. Wont push it - but I have this feeling that if I told I didnt want him to go he would be so insistent on attending....

So many of us take our health for granted until something happens. I'm mostly a healthy person, but sometimes even little aches and pains make me grateful on the days that they're not there. Happy that you can once again rake those darned leaves!
