I really had to say something about this... it`s been boggling my brain for a while...
I think no one should have to write
'my deal is not nearly as good as others i see here'
'its not much but ... '
'my brag is nothing compared to...'
'little brag...'
or other things of that nature.. please tell me if im wrong but; you got what you needed .. on sale.. with a coupon... for next to nothing.. not full price .. on clearance.. etc. ALL THAT IS GREAT and i think all brags where you got what you needed and didn`t pay full price is GREAT !!!!
So many people don`t even bother looking at sales/flyers/coupons and pay full price all the time..
it`s shocking ! The simple fact that whoever took the time to look at a flyer find the coupon and get what they needed for the lowest price possible TO THEM (not lowest possible ever in the whole world) is worth bragging about.
Sure some people come out with the whole store for a penny and a half but that`s just experience. In the end it all comes down to.. its on sale used a coupon look at what i found
and thats AWESOME !!!!
So to all the newbs please don`t be shy to post ANY brag thinking it's too little, or not good enough or whatever.... You're on SC , you get deals, you're smart and YOU ROCK !!!!
Thanks everyone for sharing all your deals, coupons, brags, freebies, tips, stories and also friendships here on SC. This is a great community

Just had to get it off my chest

Nicely said, I think for most of us, we are looking for the *best* possible price on items that we buy frequently, so I like when people point out to me when they found something for less, than I can go out and get it too.

I think is very well said, I know that people I talk to on here from back east aren't putting up their brags because they don't have a LD and it doesn't compare to the savings of some of those who go stock pile crazy, and sure if you need or have use for it all the power to you. I am not meaning or trying to knock anyone as we all out to save a buck and on whatever it is we need I just think that we should all embrace all BRAGS and be happy we aren't paying full price!!! Thanks for starting this thread, job well done to you!!!

Everyone is doing their best to cut back on the cash out-flow. Every little bit helps to buy the next thing that you need. Everyone should be proud that they have "bought" into a very healthy attitude about purchasing things. If more people thought our way, maybe the prices would go down altogether without coupons.
Congrats to everyone who uses this site!

A bit off the subject, but to those who worship LD stores, I would say that their policy of accepting coupon stacking is great, but the actual shopping experience still highly depends on the individual cashier you meet.
Today I got the new brandsaver coupons in the mail and went to LD @ Yates St in Victoria to shop. I used a few coupons with all different UPC codes towards two products, the girl seemed a bit sour and said she could not take all of them as that would make the products almost free for me. I said the store would get full reimbursement from the manufacturer, which should be what she should care about. She's still reluctant and I took back one coupon without arguing just to save time for everyone. Eventually I couldn't save more just because some cashier felt bitter / jealous to see others save.
