Well...a couple of weeks ago while shopping my favorite purse broke
so I have been hitting the stores trying to find a good one....cant believe the price of some of them I had really been postponing the purchase didnt want to spend major $$ walked thru the mall after work and went into all the diff clothes stores to see what they had...still ugh....untill FAIRWEATHER....found a purse in the back...$49.99 ummm cant open it...& zip thing is missing...brought to the cash to see if the cashier could open it.. line up started so I told her I would try again...presto got it opened
Asked the cashier if I could get a discount since the zip thing was missing and it seemed to be missing a strap. She said I will take 50% off.
Also noticed they take spc so i got that discount also
Pleated Dr Purse reg $49.99 - defect discount $25.00 - spc 2.50
$25.41
I added a cool hard rock key chain as a new zip pull...and have plenty of straps from other purses!!This thread is currently associated with: Fairweather, SPC Student Price Card

cute!! Lots of room for coupons, too!!!
Way to go! It never hurts to ask for a discount if you see something wrong (as long as you can fix it yourself!!)

Great find, and cute purse fix! A good purse is so hard to find -
... I'm earning $5-25 Amazon.ca gift cards EVERY month, are you?
P.S. ... starting to hunt for ShoppingChannel GC's with no minimum purchase ...

A+.
I hate to admit that I once spent $1000 on a purse.
OMG. I'm embarrassed to admit that (paid with liquid - not credit - if that makes it any better
)

hmmmm Just before Xmas I fell in love with a shirt at fairweather. There was a small hole right in the seam in the neckline. The salesperson refused to discount it. So I left empty handed
I just couldnt pay full price for a shirt that I was going to have to sew. AWESOME for you to get a deal

Great deal! A bit of creativity goes a long way when searching for deals!
I can only dream! A few weeks ago I was walking by a Swarovski Boutique and in the window was the most exquisite evening bag covered in Swarovski crystals! Oh my goodness...I was just like a kid staring through the window of a candy store. It was just mesmerizing! No, I didn't buy the evening bag (price tag $850), but I did dream about how well it would compliment the designer dress I spotted only a few minutes earlier!

I was single and had lots of discretionary cash: I was in Rome and fell in love with a bag at Miu Miu....ahh, the love story of a girl and a hand bag!
Now I have two young children, so I don't imagine I'll ever be able - or even willing - to self-indulge like that again

Wow! Cuuuute purse! I love it! The best purse that I have ever had, is the purse I am using now... (A friend of mine gave it to me..) Its a brown leather Aldo slouch purse... I usually end up braking my purses within a couple months of getting them. (I tend to overstuff them LOL) and I have had it for like a year and a half and its showing no signs of wear! it still looks brand new!!! and I still am way overstuffing it...with all my stuff in it, it weighs like 30lbs!!! (without anything in it,it weighs about 2lbs... so its doing well!! (sorry I just totally bragged in your brag..)
