Love this thread, I'm envious of you as my mom passed away last year and those are the kind of memories I have of our shopping trips. She lived 300 miles away and we saw each other only a few times a year and was almost deaf so we couldn't have a conversation on the phone. My mom used to take half an hour to get down one isle in store because she had to talk to everyone she saw whether she knew them or not and if there was a baby oh my there went another 15 minutes.

My favourite brag! Made me cry...my mom passed away when I was just 17, she was only 49 years old. There's really nothing like a mother's love

Thank you for sharing such a personal and heartwarming story. You are truly blessed. Often times one only looks back fondly on the stories and times shared with their loved ones when they have gone home.

Thank you for posting this. Your Mom sounds like a wonderful lady. I wish I had memories like that of my Mom, unfortunately she was very sick for a lot of my life and took her life when I was 11. But I am sure if she was still alive, we would be going on shopping trips together too!
