Loocie will be away for a bit. I am having some surgery on tuesday & I am not really sure what to expect in regards to how long I will be lollygagging & resting afterwards.

Some of you may know that I have dealt with Sarcoma in the past. They do not feel that I am looking anything ‘sinister’ this time, but it is something that needs to be dealt with.

That is one of the reasons why I tell everyone to always keep the faith.

Firefighters from Napanee were involved in an accident on the 401 after leaving the FireFit competition in Windsor on Saturday afternoon. One was kept in a London hospital, the rest were treated & released. The town of Napanee chartered a bus to get the rest of the group home, and that bus went off the road near 401 and 403 about 6 o'clock Sunday morning. That accident killed one firefighter's wife and put 12 people in hospital. Just a bad, bad day.

I suspect that since you are moving more slowly than usual gravity must be especially strong today.

That is why the rest of us are having a hard time getting out of bed.

1. a very large body of dark matter is in our vicinity or
B. we are on the event horizon of a black hole.



In either case you are hopelessly doomed.

I had a lovely dinner at Tucker's with my folks. Of course I ate too much, but didn't partake in any alcoholic beverages, but only because my Mom refused to share her chocolate martini. The important thing is that the b-day boy had a wonderful time.

I hope everyone is doing well. It seemd to take forever to get
back home from Montreal today!
From Belleville to TO is was stop and go. Not the most pleasant
thing to do in the car...
Thankfully we're not driving out east as I am not sure I could
handle over 24 hrs driving to get there.

Do we need to sign up for the Roger Waters contest? Does anyone have a clue?

I'm going to assume that the format will be similar to the Aerosmith contest and that there will be a link on the contest section and that for you to enter/register a word that you would need to "log-in" each time ...and wait at least one minute between each entry.

Haven't seen any rules or links posted as of yet. The words may start before they get the links/entry form operational...if past contests are any indication. Not sure if there will be any words for the "overnight" shift or if they will start up with Derringer's shift in the morning.
