afternoon Q sters,
first day back to work after 11 days off, nice pile of paper on my desk. finally got it all cleared off & put away. now it's time for the roger waters contest words, will try & help out as much as possible.
i noticed that there was a discussion on whether pics should be displayed, or was it just about the SIZE of the pics. i really enjoy the pics, jokes & sometimes off-coloured humour. that's what makes this thread unique & definitely NOT boring.

Loocie will be away for a bit. I am having some surgery on tuesday & I am not really sure what to expect in regards to how long I will be lollygagging & resting afterwards.

Some of you may know that I have dealt with Sarcoma in the past. They do not feel that I am looking anything ‘sinister’ this time, but it is something that needs to be dealt with.

That is one of the reasons why I tell everyone to always keep the faith.

Dear sweet Loocie, please get well soon. my thoughts & prayers for a speedy recovery.

Here are some pics of a couple groups from the CNE yesterday. The Maple Blues Revue with guest Duke Robillard. The other ones are Mama Kin the tribute to Aerosmith. They were good but another Aerosmith tribute band I seen last year do it better (Aeroforce). Unfortunately Mama Kin got cancelled after their first set as the rain was pouring down and ruined it! It also rained in the afternoon on and off, got to see a few bands.

I always find it worth going quite a few days so you don't have to rush around. There are different shows and music at night, either bandshell, or a few outdoor venues (Midway stage - tribute bands) Check the schedule at TheEx.com. When you go down for the Molson show get a program for the CNE and it will tell you the different events that are on every day (Rock on Ice, at Richoh Coliseum) etc. The two days I went this weekend I only got some music and some shopping in yesterday so I need more time. Plus it was raining but won't be this week.
