A True Scot
A young Scottish lad and lass were sitting
on a low stonewall, holding hands, gazing
out over the loch. For several minutes
they sat silently.
Then finally the girl looked at the boy and
said, "A penny for your thoughts, Angus."
"Well, uh, I was thinkin'... perhaps it's aboot
time for a wee kiss."
The girl blushed, then leaned over and
kissed him lightly on the cheek.
Then he blushed. The two turned once
again to gaze out over the loch.
Minutes passed and the girl spoke again.
"Another penny for your thoughts, Angus."
"Well, uh, I was thinkin' perhaps it's noo
aboot time for a wee cuddle."
The girl blushed, then leaned over and
cuddled him for a few seconds.
Then he blushed. And the two turned
once again to gaze out over the loch.
After a while, she again said, "Another
penny for your thoughts, Angus."
"Well, uh, I was thinkin' perhaps it's aboot
time you let me put my hand on your leg."
The girl blushed, then took his hand and
put it on her knee. Then he blushed.
Then the two turned once again to gaze out over
the loch before the girl spoke again.
"Another penny for your thoughts, Angus."
The young man glanced down with a furled
brow "Well, noo," he said, "my thoughts
are a wee bit more serious this time.'
"Really?" said the lass in a whisper, filled
with anticipation.
"Aye," said the lad, nodding.
The girl looked away in shyness, began
to blush, and bit her lip in anticipation
of the ultimate request.
Then he said, "Dae ye nae think it's aboot
time ye paid me the first three pennies?"

Derringer was talking about this this morning. They're something like 2000 feet below the surface, and the tunnel required to return them to the surface needs to be four and a half miles long. They've already been stuck there for close to three weeks, and the earliest projected date for the completion of the tunnel is Christmas. The miners have been told that help is on the way, but they haven't been told how long it'll be.

I read this morning that these 33 guys are in a room, aproximately the size of a small apartment. I feel crowded when there are more than four people over at my place for a few hours!

I laughed so hard this morning at something Megmac (my 8 year old) said. She was trying to brush the dog, and Buddy wanted no part of it, wiggling, chewing, escaping etc. until finally she threw her hands up in frustration and exclaimed:
"I can't work under these conditions!"

The 25 year old coward had shot Lennon five times at close range on December 8th, 1980 in front of The Dakota apartment building in New York City. Over the next few months, Chapman would claim many times to have been beaten by fellow inmates, some of whom allegedly tried to kill him. Chapman was denied parole at his first five hearings in October 2000, October 2002, October 2004, October 2006 and August 2008.

This is one of the best blooper ads we've seen. It demonstrates what can happen when companies outsource their ads to foreign countries in order to cut costs.Someone who is ESL (English as a Second Language) wrote the copy line for this ad (see below). The little firemen coming out of the bottle are supposed to be there. It's the writing at the end, that is the problem...
