Formerly & Most Memorably known as the O'Keefe Centre, was once briefly known as the Humingbird Centre and is now the Sony Centre. The Sony Centre is owned by the City of Toronto. The city sold of a portion of the Property to a developer. The South West corner of the property - Corner of The Esplanade & Yonge St. The City is Renovating the Centre & Updating. The portion sold to the developer is becoming a 58 +/- storey Condo Tower called the 'L' Tower - so called because in profile it is the shape of an 'L'. The tower takes up the space of some of the backstage changing/dressing rooms & the electrical & mechanical rooms which are being relocated to the east side of the building.
In case anyone is curious.

Oh, I forgot to report on my garden. I have two daffodils in bloom.
Good night, all. See you tomorrow! I'm starting back at my exercise class after a three month absence but I'll be here eventually.Just because something isn't right for YOU doesn't mean it's wrong.

Hey 6ff9 and runt, I'm retired and I forget. Is the pole in the station a "stripper pole" or an "exercise pole"?

I kinda wondered if that was you today at 5:40 too, psells. Too bad it wasn't. I came in back from a great day just in case they called, but they didn't! Oh well, tomorrow is going to rain so it won't hurt so much being in in case they call!!
TTYA tomorrow!

The first crane truck definitely tipped into the water, but not the second one. Look at the people in the last photo, starting with the guy in the white shirt walking to the right, the other guy in the white shirt behind him, and then all the people to the right of them. Now look at the 5th photo in the series - same people in exactly the same places. The final photo was altered to include the 'tipped' green crane truck.
Also the dinghy has reappeared next to the red tug, and the vehicles on the dock behind the red tug match the fifth photo.Last edited by psells; Tue, Apr 6th, 2010 at 12:26 AM.
