Poetry on a Saturday though it is just another day,
Loocie has decided that it is time for a little survey,
Not the kind of questions that they ask you on the “Q”,
& not the kind to invoke deep thoughts, so I’ll only ask a few,
Have you ever played a game of kiss & tell?
Or tossed a penny into a wishing well?
Do you ever wish you’d spoken up squarely?
When you felt someone was been treated rather unfairly?
Do you try & treat others reasonably & sincerely?
Are you a person with principles that you value most dearly?
Do you find AC/DC’s songs appealing & soothin’?
Are you just one of those people who keeps on a’ groovin’?
Did you ever surprise someone special by planting a kiss?
& was that a moment that left you basking in the sweetest bliss?
I’ve already asked the boxers or briefs questions before,
So it wouldn’t be right for me to ask it once more,
Let me know if you want me to be more graphic,
& ask some questions that would plain stop traffic,
But for now, I shall just ask if you are all feeling alright?

I rememdered as The geese attacking everybody who came near the nest and that he was protecting his fellow workers from the geese.

Yes, that is true.
I made sure everyone knew to keep their distance.
Nothing like seeing an aggressive Goose suddenly flying at you at Full Hiss to help you drop a Load in your pants!!
Even warned the Landscapers who then left their little Spot alone; I told them when it was clear and they Thanked me.

I also saw Passersby teasing the Geese (Pis*ed me off to no end!!!!).

By the time they left, no one was hurt and it left me with a Feel-Good-Story that will last a Lifetime.

We're off for our "official" last week-end at the boat... I hate packing it in for the winter, but it certainly does get rather chilly up there.... I will accept it more when I freeze my butt off tomorrow morning....

Some of our American friends are uninformed about these types of things & even more current things.

I seem to recall reading that when Sarah Palin's "handlers" were prepping her for the big bad world she learned that Tony Blair was not a member of the Royal Family.....go figure!

Good morning, everyone!

I have theatre in the afternoon, theatre in the evening, & a concert tonight. But not the *big* concert everyone is raving about. I'll have to live that one vicariously through ya'll.

Why Some Men Have Dogs And Not Wives:
1. The later you are, the more excited your dogs are to see you.

True, as long as you bring home a doggy bag. If not, watch out!

2. Dogs don't notice if you call them by another dog's name.

Wanna bet? My idiot neighbours got a new dog recently, but keep calling the poor thing by the last dog's name. I see chewed slippers in someone's future.


3. Dogs like it if you leave a lot of things on the floor.

Lily dog will have to disagree with this one, if only because it's her job to put everything away. The cat likes to help out by knocking things over & emptying out the toybox, so the poor girl never gets bored.


4. A dog's parents never visit.

Shhh, that's a sore subject around here. It's taken me years to convince them there's nowhere for anyone else to sleep.


5. Dogs agree that you have to raise your voice to get your point across.

Only if the other party is refusing to listen. I find food works better at getting someone's attention (canine, feline or human).


6. You never have to wait for a dog; they're ready to go 24 hours a day.

Uh huh, ever try waking one up when they're enjoying their beauty sleep???


7. Dogs find you amusing when you're drunk..

So do most neighbours.


8. Dogs like to go hunting and fishing.

Hunting for freshly baked cookies, maybe.


9. A dog will not wake you up at night to ask, "If I died, would you get another dog?"

Nope, but they can sure get jealous if you give their cookie to the neighbour dog.


10. If a dog has babies, you can put an ad in the paper and give them away.

11. A dog will let you put a studded collar on it without calling you a pervert.

Yep. It's the neighbours ya have to watch out for.


12. If a dog smells another dog on you, they don't get mad. They just think it's interesting.

Just wait til your asleep. That's always the best time for revenge.

Not unless there's a loveseat with silk cushions on it.

But I thought Lobsters had blue hearts. Or are they green? It's been a long time since I've been intimately acquainted with one (the last time was in Biology class in university & only one of us got out alive).
