Afternoon All.

I kind of "hit the wall" and didn't log off last night so apologies to those who got fooled with my little green light being on.

NOT feeling well today. Hubby has had a really, bad cold this week. I don't think he moved off the couch for four days - and to be fair, he's really not a typical "guy" when it comes to being sick so if he couldn't move, it was for a good reason (Today's reason, though is the PGA ....) Anyway, I thought I had escaped it - I mean a week and no symptoms. Until this morning.

UUUUGGGGHHHH. Time to amp up all the homeopathic/old wives tale/folklore remedies. I'm pretty sure if I do that, rather than being down for the count for 7 days, I'll only be down for a week!!

Sorry to hear we have some folks under the weather. My parents swear by the following for dealing with colds.

For a mild cold, brew a strong tea, fill a mug half way, then top it up with red wine (cheap stuff works well). It works great at soothing a sore throat.

For a really bad cold, brew a strong tea, fill the mug half way, then top it up with rum. If nothing else, you will sleep soundly.

I'm so sorry to hear that. But you did manage to get some "good stuff"! Unfortunately, it will probably still take a few days before it kicks in and you're feeling better.

Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

I managed to survive the birthday party for the 2 yr old. On the way home, however, I got entangled in some sort of traffic fiasco on the subway (half the lines were shut down). Making some coconut macaroons before bedtime to take to some friends in the morning. Hopefully, I won't have to sample too many.
