For the longevity of the fabric, it should be able to breathe.
The backing material needs to be stable and acid free.

Okay, sitting here on the computer getting ready for work. Started feeling a little warm. My face tends to get all red and dry when I'm stressed, so I just attributed it to that (rushing to get to work).

Just realized what the issue is. The super has turned the HEAT ON in my building!!! Seriously? WTF??? :shrug:
