Canadian View
The election fever that gripped the city of Toronto has subsided. Rob Ford has been elected the new mayor of Toronto with 47% of the vote. His chief rival George Smitherman came in at 36%, and long shot candidate Joe Pantalone tailed in with 12%.
1. What is Your View?
Rob Ford is precisely what Toronto needs to put a cap on the unsustainable wastefulness engaged upon so gleefully by the previous Miller administration. Ford is just the man to get the job done.
Rob Ford is a clown and a bully. He's demonstrated open contempt for immigrants and cyclists. Get ready to watch Toronto take a nosedive.
I really didn't care who won the election. I was just relieved to see that incumbent David Miller was not seeking a third term.

Russian authorities have confirmed that the country is now facing a new threat from bears: irreverence. As the climate continues to change, the food supply for bears in Russia is dwindling and the hungry animals have resorted to digging into graveyards, tearing open coffins, and eating corpses.1. I Believe
That can be solved quickly, by sprinkling something pungent on the outside of the coffin prior to burial.
It's fine. People shouldn't put so much emphasis on the sanctity of burial. It's natural for other animals to eat us when we die. I'd be comfortable knowing that when I die I'd be giving back to nature.
It's an advertisement for cremation.

[QUOTE=truenorthstrongnfree;2693401]Good afternoon, everyone!
Yes, that was me again! I didn't want to post it, because I wasn't 100% sure if they were going to call me. Ryan e-mailed me on Wednesday, responding to my challenge, saying they'd try and get to me yesterday or today. By the time Chris called me last night, I was on my way to the Royal Alex with Jen.
