I'm not sure if anyone else heard this, but a couple of weeks ago, a school district in Chilliwhack BC has changed the school break FROM winter vacation TO Christmas vacation saying that they take the break BECAUSE of Christmas so why not call it that.Quote:

I whole heartedly agree. If that is the reason for the break, then why isn't it called that? I remember how disappointed I was a few years ago when my child's school decided not to have a Christmas Concert and opting for a Spring concert instead to be politically correct.
