not much snow here in toronto. nasty drive in from the north though. car window frozen shut.....

....hey HG ....about the windows.....I am trying a new thing....when I parked yesterday, I put the windows down ever so slightly...that way, I can push the "up" button, and the movement should break the ice holding the window at "stuck"...at least, that's my theory!!!....
.....I haven't been out yet, waiting for a package to arrive, but I'll be out later....I'll try and remember to report if I was successful....TR

Well the trip to the Bills game was good................a little damp mind you.
It rained and it rained for the tailgate, but stopped at game time.
We left early to beat the traffic and made a short detour to the Anchor Bar. It's the first time I had taken my son to a game so we had to hit the hot spots.

Waiting for Bell to come & upgrade cable & satellite (not by my choice, apparently the service I subscribe to is obsolete, so I need their fancy new service - at a price increase - which has all sorts of fancy features that are not yet available). Yes, I'm a cranky person this morning.

On the plus side, the tech is great. He's called me rwice already to update when he's going to get here (had a delay, so called to let me know, I'm impressed).

On a different note, is there anyone who wants to go to the Breakfast who didn't get passes? My "date" can't make it, so if anyone wants to come with, let me know.

Morning all,
Well the entire house is one giant flu bug. I woke up feeling awful. I sound like a drag queen, my voice is almost gone. Hubbie should like that. Gonna have my son home from school today. I guess we can watch a movie and share a box of tissues.
It seems to be a trend, I can't remember a Christmas that at least 1 person wasn't sick.....Oh well hopefullly it will go away quick.
I really don't have any faith left in Flu shots... We had um and within a month bam.....

...ew yuck, MR.....hope you all will feel better real soon....'tis the season, with all the rubbish that goes along with it....Christmas colds suck, cos you can't taste your turkey dinner...I had one 3 years running, SUCH a PITA....TR

Good Morning, all!

Up early to go look at an apartment with the woman. Did anyone else receive a notification that they won passes to see True Grit? I've been looking forward to this for a few months now, and she might even be more stoked than I am!



My boss isn't going to be thrilled about it, though, lol. I also won tickets to Friday's Raptors game against New Jersey at the company Christmas party Saturday night, so I have to re-schedule not one but two vacation days.

...I don't think there are passes for the movie I want to see.....the new "Tron".....saw the original years ago, and loved it.....
