For the first time in maybe 2 years I’ve won something from the “Q”,
I waited until it was official, so I’ve come here to share,
At this particular moment, I’m a gal without a care,
I picked up my tickets for Friday night & I’ll be at the ACC,
You see it twas I who won the tickets for Carole King & our friend JT,
I picked up the tickets this morning & I’m filled with much elation,
As I owe such a debt of gratitude to you all at the Club “Q” nation,
A special evening awaits me & some very deserving friends,
Childhood friends who still keep me sane with friendship that transcends,
I must confess the points I entered came to a sizable tally,
& getting the call to tell me I’d won was indeed a grand finale,
So there you go my friends, I have joined the winner’s ranks!
