Just got back from the cottage to discover that tad01 scooped up my Indy passes! No hard feelings though - you had 3 entries for every one of mine, so it was well deserved.

I just got back from a short 2 day holiday at my sisters cottage. It's a real cottage. Not one of those 1.6 million dollar, 50,000 square foot mansions that most people call a cottage nowadays!

If anyone has tomorrow off, the Honda Indy is FREE. Free admission, you can sit anywhere (as long as a weekend passholder doesn't show up) and even free paddock admission too. Tomorrow only. There are lots of events and practice happening.

Hey, anybody had to deal with the 'Security Tools' trojan/badware/thing? It's on my sister-in-law's machine and Geek Squad says it will cost $189 to deal with it. On the other hand, they sounded like they knew exactly what they were talking about, and the Staples guy did not.


Hey P, before you pay anyone to remove it, go to www.malwarebytes.org and download their software (it's free). I have used this a gazillion times to remove all sorts of spyware and crap. Great program. I've put it on all of my computers with no problems and it has saved my machines many times.

Thanks! So nice of you to say! I've been offered a pair of free general admission tickets by the nice people at Barrie Honda - I'll be heading down there in the morning to pick them up. I can't decide if I want to use them for myself or if I want to buy grandstand tickets and pass the G.A. tix on to feetfrown or rockit. I'm waiting to see how much grandtand tix would cost me. I was told that if I buy tickets at Barrie Honda I'll get free paddock passes. Much better deal than buying on-line or at the gate!

I have an in-house computer geek - my son. When my computer acts up or misbehaves I just lean back and yell "KYLE!! Come and fix this damn thing!" Unfortunately, Microsoft &/or Apple haven't figured out how to digitize humans so we can e-mail them yet.... or I'd send him to ya....
