I see I missed some codes over the weekend! But it was worth it, I spent a lot of time on the beach in PEI! Weather was fabulous, lobster was fabulous, my DS got to dig in the sand, fun was had by all. Hope you missed me!

Have you never been there? I was brought up in CB, but never went there until I met my DH (who is from Charlottetown). It's a great place to bring kids - check the tide schedule, go to the beach when the tide is out armed with buckets, shovels, etc. Dig in the sand, hop over the seaweed, watch the fish and catch a bucketful of the little hermit crabs in the tidal pools and watch them run away, it's heaven for little boys.

Yeah, here I am in CB and have never been to the (other) island. No excuse for that, being so close. I'ver never heard anything but good things about PEI, maybe next summer. Do you know if a ferry still runs from NS or do we have to drive to NB and take the bridge?
