Oh thank you Feetfrown - I thought it was just me!!

I don't have fond memories of OV. Except, of course, for the jingle (V-I-E-N-N-A that's Old Vienna the happy, lazy lager beer). I remember taking a sneak sip from my Grandfather's beer when I was little. Nearly turned me off beer and I was only 7!! Gawd that was awful. As I didn't know if it was truly bad beer or the fact that I'd never had a sip of beer before, decided to give it another chance later - when I was a much older 14 or so. Still awful. Don't think I've ever had an OV since!!

Do they still even make OV?

Growing up my Uncle was a draftsman at Carling - O'Keefe so in our house, we often had freebies of Black Label. (hey Mabel) Then Carlsberg.

I loved the Old Vienna song though........must look for it on YT.
