Good morning, everyone.

I spent yesterday evening (well into the night) at emergency with my friend. I only came home so I could check on her charges & my roomies (& because I was getting in everyone's way). I'm still waiting to hear from the hospital.

If anyone has a few prayers to spare, I could really use them.

Dark and dreary here, blech. Maybe the sun will make an appearance later.

Ah, memory lane with some current times thrown in…love the OK Go Muppets mix. I expected more sarcasm from Statler & Waldorf though as that’s how I remember their heckling balcony remarks. Never a fan of the movies yet should be interesting to see what Jason Segel does with it. Thanx user-id!

OMG, that’s a lot of damage from Irene, rebate queen. You and your family must have been scared out of your wits. I am sorry to hear it won’t be a fast fix and that you had to go so long without power. Please keep us posted on how you are doing as I wish I could send more than prayers and well wishes.

kekes, my heart aches for you and your DH. I imagine it’s a helpless feeling to watch someone you love dearly suffer. If only well wishes could heal as I am sorry you two are in pain.

Thank you to everyone who checks in as manzervite has pointed out; there are other P&P forums (US and Canadian). Yet, my biased opinion is that they don’t have the same uplifting community spirit that can be found here.

I used to check some of the other sites for the P&P words but found it a waste of time as all the words are posted here so fast that we get double and sometimes triple posts for the same word because OUR members are just so dog gone good that they are posting at the same time. And no other site can hold a candle to the community spirit that SC have here.
Thank you Noodge for reminding all of us what a great site this really is.
