DH had an appt for MD socks so we jumped in the truck and headed into town ... as we passed the mail box I said let's pick up mail Im expecting something ...
He gets back in the truck and hands me a bunch of mail (yeah pickup was slack this week
There is an envelope with a return address from a friend I have know for decades, every year she writes me a nice long letter telling me everything that has happened in her family over the past year
As Im opening the envelope I saying to DH ... we need to get together with them we haven't seen them for years !
Inside .. a simple card with her DH obituary from May ..............................
