Thanks for the words!
I do need Word for my classes but no luck as of yet finding a good one.
I bought a bag of Performation from Pet Valu. I may try Blue Buffalo or Holistic next month. I decided to change it although would cost more Patches and Stripes have sensitive tummies (more Stripes). Lately he has been very grumpy not eating much dry food, and farting. I put a heat pad on his stomach and he seem happy. So all I can think of is his food is causing it and the vet said both are more likely to have these type of troubles especially as they age. But also could be additives and could cause more problems.
Patches refuses to eat certain kinds only chicken, lamb, and such. She will eat Pate but not shredded. She has been throwing it back up and trouble (chewing it properly and digesting it). But the Pate she seems fine so I will stick to that.
The vet said that avoid duck and such as they ahve tummy trouble it will most likely make it worse. So I switched their food and may mix the food (small amount of Whiskas and Performation).
They just inhaled this new food and seem fine with it. I will be changing their litter as well. I bought a bag of pine litter and if that doesnt work respiratory litter (which costs more). But the dust from regular cat litter causes upper respiratory infections which both Patches and Stripes are prone too. I find Patches has been coughing and
sneezing after going to the bathroom.
Toppie seems fine with it for the time being but figure wont hurt him to use the products with him as well. Please! Vote for me! Return Votes - PM me! https://apps.facebook.com/offerpop/Contest.psp?c=72752&u=18635&a=2555581944 95800&p=173929515983119&v=Entry&id=210866&res t=1

@Ricki, my cat participated in a test for Science Diet 11+ (that's not the whole name) for cats who are 11 or older. It's supposed to improve their health & expensive but nowhere near the cost of Royal Canin. Emmet would eat it until he got a whiff of the R.C. Science Diet is more widely distributed but not this variety.

I had Blaze (my jrt dog) on Natural dog food, the one I had him on was an organic one as he has allergies. Anyways I had noticed his poo had been super hard and often. I talked to my vet, and she told me that he wasn't absorbing anything! I found this shocking because all the ingredients is real food. However, in his case, we had to put him back on the Med-i-cal Hypoallergenic foods and we are using puree'd pumpkin to help jump start his weight loss.
As for my cats, I have them on a wholefoods dry food and I had them on Eagle Foods and a Wholistic Foods cat food. I did find that it made a difference to their "output" whereas foods like Whiskas, or Meowmix etc., would be a definite increase in their poo and it was far more stinky. ATM they are still on the wholefoods and it seems to be agreeing with them.
Which one are you thinking of doing? If you are looking for coupons have you checked out the Blue Buffalo website? I know for a fact they have coupons for dogs and cats for their products. If they are out, let me know I have coupons!
