When I clicked to download the affidavit it clearly states that I must be a legal resident of the US

It goes on about how I'm stating that I'm over 18 etc...... All I can say is this sucks. No where in the official rules did I see"must be resident of US"........... so what should I do about it, just ignore the email or what

Congrats to you! That's awesome!

It clearly says for that contest that it is open to US/Canada residents 18 & over so they can't not give it to you. I would contact them because you can't falsely put that you're a US resident on the form, so just tell them that there's no spot to mark yourself as a Canadian resident and see what they tell you. Definitely make sure you get your points though, because they've chosen you as the winner.


Also, just as an observation... I've won some contests before and had to fill out the release forms and email them back, and i've never had to attach "a copy of my driver’s license or official identification card" before. just thought that was strange. But maybe others have had a different experience
