Happy Monday everyone! A bit of a hard weekedn that involved moving almost two tons of bags of concrete....PLEASE remind me to nix DH's pet projects from now on!!!!! The backyard was fine without concrete edging!!!!! And I fell off a chair onto the cement walkway pulling Virginia Creeper out of my Japanese Tree Lilac that is ailing.....I thought the vine might be choking it, although it looked pretty.....I feel very creaky this morning!

My friend turns 50 today and is out of the office for the morning, so we just decorated for him. Gorgeous pink streamers. blue balloons, etc!!!!

It's been a really upsetting last couple of days. One of my best friends (been knowing over 40 years) was killed in a car accident Saturday afternoon. She was going home from work & was hit head on by a young man texting while driving and killed instantly. She had never married and lived alone so it took some time before the next of kin was found and notified. The family as well as friends are taking it really hard. Would appreciate any prayers.
