    Charities send out stuff like this to different target audiences for various purposes e.g. to reinvigorate donors who have lapsed or slowed down in their giving, to give frequent donors an additional opportunity, to encourage first donations from targeted portions of lists they've acquired by trading with another charity, etc. It's seldom if ever random.

    Pleased to have found 4 game pieces for the McDonald's Monopoly game. Finding them is harder than I think-many bags but few stamps sighted! About $2.20 collected in container refunds this weekend.

    Yesterday's mail-card from friend with a Tim Horton's gift (doughnuts are coming home today).

    Last night-found 8 more Monopoly pieces (large drink cups for the win mostly), found a dime and lost it (it did not come home), and $1.40 in containers. Picked up Hamilton Mountain newspaper at Turner Park library. (Found a McCafe sticker too-just need one more for a full card to use after Monopoly game ends.)

    Today-found 40 cents in containers and 6 more Monopoly pieces. Bank fee covered for Oct. with a bit for November.

    No waving dollar bills yet but I am looking!
