Nascar has already done the driver intros & the jet dryers are on hold, because the rain has restarted again. Hurricane Arthur went thru earlier this week & i guess this is the left over remnants of it.

Well race fans, the rain has postponed the Coke Zero 400 till Sunday at 11 am.

Today is a little drier, but cloudy, humidity 83 degrees & still a threat of rain. There will be a competition yellow on lap 20, since all the rubber has been washed off. Race sets up could be interesting since there were originally set up for night racing or it may not matter, since practice was also for the most part washed out.

This race use to be called the Firecracker 400, as well as the Pepsi Cola 400, now the Coke Zero 400. It is 400 miles or 160 laps of a new race track surface.

Teams are concerned about the grille opening that Nascar mandated, 23" x 1 3/4", which would be fine for night racing, but the heat of the day......?????????????????
