Next Friday night is the Sprint Showdown, starting at 7 pm, then Saturday night is the Nascar Sprint All-Star Race at 7 pm at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This is a no points race for 1 million dollars in prize money.

This is Jeff's last All Star race.

Danica will have to start at the back after making an engine change even tho she qualified 6th.
There's 4 sets of 25 laps & 1 10 lap show down.

Greg, Clint & Danica had to qualify in last night shoot out, with Greg & Clint winning, while Danica won her way in, with the fan vote. The 3 of there were not able to practice the 150 mile an hour entry to pit road to get to pit box to change tires & leave to qualify for starting position tonight. All 3 did extremely well, Greg, 2nd, Clint, 4th & Danica, 6th. This is Kyle B's 1st race back since busticating his leg & ankles at Daytona. His wife is due at the end of the month with their 1st rodent. Who will win 1 million dollars tonight? Can Happy or Kyle come from the back to win? Guess we'll find out soon.

It took 84 days of recovery for Kyle to get back into the race car. He didn't get to race in the Daytona 500, because of the crash in the Xfinity series the day before. They are getting ready for driver intros.

Danica Patrick was revealed to be the winner of the Sprint Fan Vote on Friday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway following the Sprint Showdown.



The Stewart-Haas Racing driver is the first person to win the Sprint Fan Vote twice, earning the honor in 2013.

Earlier in the week, Miss Sprint Cup revealed that Clint Bowyer (Michael Waltrip Racing),Kyle Larson (Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates), Patrick (Stewart-Haas Racing),Martin Truex Jr. (Furniture Row Racing) and Josh Wise (Phil Parsons Racing) were the top-five vote getters.

Since the Sprint Fan Vote was instituted in 2004, only one driver -- Kasey Kahne in 2008 -- has won the vote and gone on to win the race. The 11 fan vote winners have averaged a finish of 14.27 in the Sprint All-Star Race.

Driver intros are all over & they did a nice tribute to Jeff & his final All Star race. They brought Ray Evernham out to talk with Jeff about their 1st of many All Star wins & at the end brought Jeff's family out on stage, wife, kids, Mom & step Dad.

Michael did his driver walk thru the field with Bryson, who is carrying the suitcase with the 1 million dollars in it. They were showing the driver's what 1 million looked like.
