Well it looks like we might get this race going before dark. I think there's only been 2 races that haven't had a rain delay. Tony Stewart is on the pole today with the rest of the track as follows.

Today's face is 500 mile or 334 laps. They have done driver intros, but the jet dryers are still drying off the track. The plan is to have the teams race like the race is only going to be 250 miles. Radar has rain clouds all over Texas. There will be a competition yellow, 40 laps into the race to check for tire condition & no one is allowed to fuel up before then.
Well it looks like we will know for sure if & when the race is a go at 7pm. Until then :wave:
It is official, the race has been postponed until noon Monday.
Persistent rain at Texas Motor Speedway forced the cancellation of Sunday's scheduled Duck Commander 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
With the rainout, the race will now take place at noon ET and will be televised live on FOX
