F1 Race Today = Total Lunch Bag Letdown

We had a wonderful Saturday evening and when we finally rolled in, decided to keep the party going, so to speak. So, we made a couple of cocktails, got the extra large blanket out of the closet and decided to snuggle up on the couch and enjoy the race from the new Korean track. Other than the fact that I got to spend quality "snuggle" time with hubby, what a disaster. I do hope no one else wasted their time with this race either at 4 in the morning or a couple hours later during the rebroadcast!! (And a big shout out to my Hubby .... he doesn't really care for any type of motorsports but stuck it out just to keep me company. What a sweetie!)

IMHO, when F1 is "on", it does produce a better product than does Nascar, but, for overall consistency, I do believe you Nascar folks are on to something!! I'm beginning to see the light ......

Ya I got up at 2:00am to check it out also. Fell back asleep just as they got going again. Woke up just in time to catch the 8:00am repeat.
Cup race was one of the best so far this year I think. Next week is the big one to watch Talladega. This could really shake the standings up.

I'm very sad today! I was supposed to leave for Talledega tomorrow morning but my trip has been cancelled!

It's a combination of a) not having the money and b) the friend I was supposed to meet down there is not going due to a problem at work. I don't think I even want to watch it on TV knowing that I should be there..

Now, I have to wait for next year....

What a drag. You must be really disappointed.

But in the lemonade category .... why not answer the door on Sunday evening dressed up like Ricky Bobby? (I'm just assuming you won't actually be trick-or-treating) Even if the little gremlins don't know who the heck you are, you'll know!!

you must be so disappointed, but if you get to go next year, then that's something to look forward to.

That was a bad experience for you on that race. F1 does really produces a better product than does Nascar? That's unbelievable! I thought that Nascar ride along is the best.

And a little more practical. I cannot get my head around the "chase", as with most things Brian France has done to NASCAR.
