I will never be able to do the wonderful creations that redmouse made for Christmas but I do have a super easy Easter treat that the kids can make.
All you need to do is pour 1 bag of Reece chips and one bag of chocolate chips in a bowl and melt in the microwave. While the chips are melting you squish a bag of plain chips into a million little bits. Then add them to the melted chocolate chips.Stir them up and spoon into the little cup cake liners. While they are still hot squish a little easter egg in the middle. They taste super yummy and the kids(big and small)love them!! I make both white and milk chocolate because my DN can only have the white ones.
    Here is what you bought:

    Sobeys
    2x $2.49 Chippits Reese Chips
1x $2.49 Chippits White Chocolate Chips
1x $2.49 Chippits Milk Chocolate Chips
    2x $5/2 Lays Potato Chips
    1x $3.49 M&M Easter Eggs
    Dollarama
    2x $1.25 Easter tins
1x $1 Easter mini cup cake liners
    Total = $21.95
This is super cheap for 2 gift to take to some family I plan on visiting, a plate for my mom and some left over for home.Hope all you SCers have a safe and Happy Easter!!

Very nice looking! Potato chips and chocolate is not a combination I ever would have thought of.

Too funny that you posted this - I was going to make a version of the nests for a school snack......the recipe I use has coconut which DD has decided to hate! so was looking online for a new recipie....Have you ever made these without the reese PB chips....Wondering what combo of chips to do....chocolate and white or maybe butterscotch with white?

These are called Cuban Lunch chocolates, so good for you!
You don't know there are potato chips at all - you just get the crunch.

    My recipe -
    16 oz pkg chocolate chips
16 oz pkg peanut butter chips
1 1/2 cups crushed RIPPLE plain potato chips
    1 cup crushed peanuts

Melt the chips, add potato chips and peanuts, mix together well. Put in mini cupcake papers and chill til set. They freeze well.

(If I have bunny chocolate, I use that instead!)
