Hi vancouverites, really wanted to try and come to this but turns out I have an important interview in the morning...(so I really should be sleeping but I'm too nervous so decided to scan through smart Canucks!)

But maybe in the new year I can come? Would love to meet you all and put faces to names and trade an just have fun. :)

When will we know the next meeting date? :)

Sorry I missed it, had a very rare morning off (have to work this afternoon instead) so I had to take advantage of getting to do the SDM 20x event!

We've had many meetings at this location and it seems to work well. If you're coming by Skytrain, you can get off at the Brentwood Town Centre Skytrain station and walk straight south. There are also some buses that can take you south on Willingdon from the Skytrain station. The nearest stop to the McDonald's is at the south end of the train tracks overpass. Watch that carefully. Or just tell the driver you want to get off at the nearest stop to the McDonald's. If you zoom right in on that map provided, you can see the nearest bus stops whether you're coming from the north or the south.

The approach to the restaurant is not that pedestrian oriented but just walk around to where you see all the cars parked. Nicely decked out restaurant as it is a head office for McDonald's. You'll think you're in the Chateau Whistler or something. :biggrin:
