Along with this ridiculous story (opposite of what everyone else experiences everywhere!!)
At Zellers, I had a very "Quebec" cashier, who complained to me that my Cloverleaf FPC was written in english and she couldn't understand what it said!! She repeated about 5 times to me (spoken in french of course) we are in Quebec, they should make these in french. I could still hear her complaining to the next customer in line behind me as I was leaving.

extra coupons = +2.75 (had bought a couple other things, then realised on my way out that they were the wrong size so I went to take them back and asked for my coupons back, but instead they wanted to keep them and let me keep the money!) and also had 6 bonus AM on those products which they also let me keep.
But the CS cashier told me it brought my total down ($20 worth) so asked for the free chocolate back!! So I took it out and gave it back to her, then she changed her mind and said I could keep it !

I haven't encountered the "should be in french this is Quebec" cashier yet but then again all I have to do is speak in english to get "the glare". LOL Oh I love feeling so welcome in my province. Anyhoo, bad BF we're going to come over there and lock him in a trunk and go shopping. LOL

Great haul!! If a cashier complained to the customer behind me I would of marched right over to CS and complained about them.That is so rude!!Some cashiers are just on a power trip.

yup but it's because they're free range eggs.
I always buy organic milk and organic or free-range eggs!! costs more, but to me it's worth it for the better quality and knowing the animals are treated better.

About the very Quebec cashier... 2 official languages!! If I use a french coupon out here in british columbia there should be no static from the cashier. Goes both ways
