Next time I go back I will try to find her. (for coupons that is)
My cousin was the one that had this pissed look on his face while he kept looking at his watch waiting for me. After I was done I said sorry that took so long. He just smiled and said you and your coupons.

Btw, my cousin makes over $100K/year so usually doesn't think about using coupons.

If I made that much I wouldn't either.

I try that too to make my life easier but it does not always work. Then I say in my heart, "better luck next time, its just a coupon after all" .

I think we've been served by the same cashiers (or they're related)

I hear you loud and clear on this one. Went to Wal-mart for the razors on Saturday night and the girl counted the number of razors I had then how many coupons, then looked at the receipt and then counted the coupons I had again and finally counted the coupons one more time after printing out the receipt. Using coupons is that much more fun when dealing with the "absent-minded".

It's so nice to hear a good post about your cashier. All too often we only share our bad experiences. It's nice to remember all the good people out there. Kudos to you

There's one really good cashier that works in the Express Lanes at the WM near me. I always try to find her when I go in there, because I never get any hassle.

I also think it's sad that we are surprised when we get good service somewhere

i also try this, but a lot of times they are the trainees and the ones who go by the book and refuse to take coupons if the coupon doesn't have the right pic on it etc. and are very picky. its very rare to find a good cashier, they act sometimes like we put a gun to there when we hand coupons, especially if it makes the item free or almost, i get a lot of them complaining to managers about, that's not right, then they get it free... jealousy lol

For me, it's more like learning which cashiers NOT to go to, if I remember which ones gave me a hard time before I make damn sure not to go to them again, I'd rather wait and wait in line before having to deal with them again.

I have this one old-lady cashier that I always go to. I used to go to her just to give her a hard time, cuz she was really rude to me about a SCOP once (yes, I'm that petty). Now she's the nicest lady around, we chat about coupons and she always tells the people behind me to be patient when they start huffing. Now its just the front end manager who gives me trouble. She sees me holding up a line and comes over and says "What is it THIS time?". Lol...cheers to Joyce the cashier, boo to Lorraine!
