Hey all....so Im not trying to be a debby downer at all...I too have started collecting these GTG codes. But has anyone ever done an Math behind them to see if what you are getting for "FREE" is really worth it for the amount of money you spend in diapers. I mean obviously you need diapers....so let's say you just go along a buy them as per usual...but are people going out to buy more just to get the codes.
Here is a little MATH I did...bear in mind this is not exact...
For the stroller you need 4,600 points. So let's just say 42 Points..is what we are working with...(which from what I noticed, there are not to many over 50 points..but I could be wrong)
You would need to purchase 110 packages of diapers to get these point. At 18.99 that works out to being over 2000 dollars...and the stroller is only worth like 150 dollars. I know not everyone will buy the diapers at full price, nor will they buy them all. Some may get codes from friends or for free. But even if you bought half of them at regular price...so 50 at reg price...that works out to being like 949 something. So whats the trick?? Is there one? Or is it more like, "we need diapers so we just collect". Pampers is obviously making a killing on the products they call "rewards though". I'm so interested as to what you all think???

Erin that is one way to think of it for sure! You do need a lot of points to get anything worthwhile on the site but I am of the belief, as you stated, I am buying them anyway I might as well enter them and get SOMETHING out of it (instead of just a full, stinky garbage can...lol). I will not go out of my way to buy pampers though, I buy what is on sale - needless to say was super happy when Huggies started a points system too so I never felt like I missed out! I have tried the cheaper store brands but have to say was never happy with them or I would have stuck with them... hated their non stretchy waists and felt they were uncomfortable and less absorbant. Just me though

Thank you for sharing!! Good answer...makes sense. I guess since we are all about deals on here...it kinda pissed me off when I did the math and realized that Pampers was not offering very much for all the money we give them. LOL

Well I buy both pampers and huggies depending on sales and coupons available. Been buying more pampers thought as there are more coupons available than Huggies. Anyway, it's good that there's a point system, so I'm getting something in return.
Has it been for the points only, I would never have bought pampers or huggies at normal price just for the points.
