Walmart Herbal Essence Movie Brag

While I was wandering the aisles of Walmart, I stood shocked as a staff member put a limited time offer sign beneath the Herbal Essence specially marked movie ticket product. Now, on first glance I thought it said $2. In fact, the sign said 2 for $2!!!

I ran to the car, grabbed my binder and found my .50 off coupons and proceeded to laugh myself silly as I stocked up on HE.

Here is what I bought:

Order 1
Shampoo 2(1.00) - 2(.50 coupons) = 1.00
Conditioner 2(1.00) - 2(.50 coupons) = 1.00
Taxes = .52
Total OOP =2.52

Order 2
Shampoo 2(1.00) - 2(.50 coupons) = 1.00
Conditioner 2(1.00) - 2(.50 coupons) = 1.00
Taxes = .52
Total OOP =2.52

So for 5.04 + 2 stamps, I have 8 bottles of HE and 4 FREE movie tickets.

Thanks to all the SC'ers out there who have posted about this offer and helped me get started trading. I'm sure a few months ago I would never have taken a second look at the sign let alone had a binder full of coupons to use on such a purchase.

Wow! Thats awesome! I'll have to run in to walmart and see if maybe they have the same sale? I have like 10 of those herbal essences coupons to use, + I've gotten sort of addicted seeing movies at the theatre because of the movie ticket cereal thing... thanks for posting!

super awesome...AND i scored the same deal today, except they only had shampoo, no conditioner..but i scored 2...i only had one coupie...so for $1.50 plus tax, and a stamp, I can get a movie tix!!! BTW, when you send away for the tix, they say original receipt, can it be a photocopy, since i may need to receipt to return something else i bought??

yes it's a peelie. i haven't noticed a lot of bottles with the promotion sticker too. some bottles do, and some of the same kind doesn't. i usually have to dig around the shelf, and in Walmart closest to me, i'm considered lucky to find one
