Which Freebies have you received?

He's my Polish boyfriend "Dziecko" (the one I broke my toe for). I just found the CD-ROM I made of photos of him when I was in Poland. Isn't he heavenly? He's huge and he's got the most hilarious temperament. We spent many an hour together during my two month stay. That's the old soccer ball in his mouth - the one I broke my toe on was a brand new one!

The incredibly annoying news: my Kashi kit did not, but UPS has it recorded that they made the delivery attempt. I sat in this sweltering apt. all afternoon for no good reason! (i gave them hell on the phone, and we'll see what happens next )

Oh I *hate* it when that happens...

Funny story.. Canada Post did that once to someone on the board of directors for that city... he gave'm hell and it was redelivered within the hour

I got a bunch of freebies at work today, it was wicked. I work at a catering company as a banquet server. We did a reception for a new shopping mall in honour of an organization that helps women have suits to wear for job interviews when they cannot afford it. Anyways this is what I got...

a le chateau tote bag (worth $15, they had a booth set up and because we brought them drinks and food they gave all us workers free tote bags that they used as display items on their table).

a staples easy button (it looks just like the one in the commercial and it says that was easy).

coupons for various stores like 10% off at pet cetera, tax free at michaels etc

all this was inside of a Dartmouth crossing tote bag (its the name of the shopping area)

All that being said it was a nice day at work despite the rain, you have to love those days when you get tons of free stuff (my coworkers and I were able to get all the free stuff because when we were on break from work we volunteered to help one of the vendors stuff all the tote bags full of freebies and they gave all ten of us a filled tote).

I got my nestle good start bag in the mail today and went shopping and saved $8.50 on baby stuff with coupons from huggies, enfantimil, and heinz that I got last week. Called Safeway about some substandard ice cream treats that were made one did not have the cone(still edible with a bowl) and they are sending me a $5 gift card to replace the whole package.

Kashi kit - finally!!! But not from my usual hot UPS guy - just from some angry pale guy who was pissed that he had to come back. My UPS guy must be on vacation - I knew he could he never let me down!

I am sitting eating a bowl of Kashi Crunch Go Lean cereal (came just in time for breakfast) - I could definitely eat this stuff for a year!
