Home Depot has it's "Contractors Appreciation Day", lots of major tools were 20% off. Plus we have a 10% card from Home Depot which they combined even though it says on the back of the card that you can't, plus the chop saw comes with a FREE (while supply last) stand which sells for $229 regularly.
Here is the breakdown.
1) Combo Unit (Saw and screwdriver). $249 regularly. Home Depot Gerrard Square had it on sale 2 weeks ago for $199 but Home Depot in Markham has the right price of $249. But the store in Gerrard Sq. did not change the price back after the sale. So, 20% off 199 is about $159.00
2) Sliding miter saw is $799 regularly, discounted to 559.20.
3) Stand for the saw. $229 - FREE!!!
(I have lots of "abouts" here because there's so many screw up in the sale and receipt it's difficult just to quote from it!)

559.20
71.80 (10% card discount)
plus taxes
Total about $736 for everything
plus free pizza and timmy's coffee at the store.
If I were to pay regular price it'll be about $1455

While scrolling down on your pic, seeing the milwaukee on the box, I was thinking they pave out beer with the pizza too.
