I was into Sobeys the other day, using some of the Europe's Best veggie coupons I got in trades. Sobeys in the Maritimes has bonus air miles when you buy two.
So I went through the self serve checkout, then passed over my coupons. The cashier said wow, where'd you get these? I told her that I thought they maybe from Ontario or maybe Quebec, I wasn't sure. Then I explained I'd traded for them online.
She was shocked, had never heard of people trading coupons.
As I was getting ready to leave, she said something to a coworker about how on senior's day, there's always older ladies standing in the aisles with giant coupon envelopes, digging through searching for coupons for their stuff. I gave them a good laugh when I held up mine for them on the way out the door.

lol
I too have coupon envelopes and can often been spotted responding to a "Do we have a coupon for this?" call from other aisles (usually from my DH or parents.)
Marriage is a wonderful institution, but I'm not ready for an institution yet.
