I think this site is too large to be able to send out gifts to all users. Did you see how many people voted in the latest daily question? Just less than 200,000 people. Give me a break!! They stock like 5 of each item a month. Kind of impossible to get anything worth any value!

Hey everyone, I redeemed a copy of NBA 2K10 for Wii during the last redemption, and I'm starting to get worried about how much I may have to pay. It says that gifts under $60 in value are free, but this game retails at $59.99. Will I end up having to pay import taxes/duties/anything?

What I don't like, is now when you email them about something, they "outsource" the emails, I think to LGAB members who then respond. Sorry, but if I wanted an illiterate fourteen year old addressing my concerns, I'd just post on the Lockerz Facebook discussion forum.

Actually, for electronics, they only had one item for every restock which is like four. They aren't gonna get prizes to everyone, I'm starting to think that they didn't even have the prizes. Not cool, scamming a lot of people.

For the billionth time, they do have prizes. Lockerz is not a scam. The PSP sitting next to me proves that.
It's just that there are 24327489327849 members and there aren't 24327489327849 prizes. Basically, it's a logistics nightmare. I don't think they anticipated getting so popular so fast.
I didn't get anything in the last redemption either, but I'm not bothered by it, it means I can accumulate more points and get something better in the future.

What will end up happening is a prize points increase. The cost of any prize will dramatically increase and will thus balance out the curent supply and demand issue.

well, it seems like i'm gonna write a whole lot in this reply so beware if u don't like reading long posts~~ =D

Why do I think lockerz is legit?
1. pretty simple, since bellissimarobotica has already received the psp from lockerz since she got it sent to a US address... and she uploaded a pic of it!! A picture is worth more than a thousand words.
Also, youtube has A LOT of unboxing videos from Lockerz
2. the videos that they post on the hallway, I didn't know that they were go that far and start to do interviews with celebs and sponsor fashion shows. If a celeb can "advertise" for them, then i think its pretty legit.
3. the CEO, Kathy, she actually responds when you e-mail her and usually within 24 hours. && her background as a former executive at Amazon.com and American Eagle Outfitters, reliable? The people there are actually working to maintain and upgrade the site!

Yes, it can get VERY frustrating because you don't know how many items they actually have for people the redeem. && there's so many people on Lockerz with such a high demand of the site. The site is still in beta stage hasn't gotten to the point where it can accumulate the sudden boom of their popularity which i think they may never have predicted.

Anyways, if you don't get something, trying thinking about it in a different way.. you're actually getting more points and by the time when its the next redeem, you can actually get something even BETTER!! lol that's what I say when my friends couldn't get anything because the site was lagging so much.

I agree that there's still many faults and glitches in the site, but remember it is still in beta stage >.< even though their deadline was suppose to be Oct 15... BUT they have improved quite a lot over the last 3 months!! && they are giving us FREE stuff~ (excluding taxes/ custom fees) so we shouldn't bombard them YET~ XD yet... but i guess complain can help because so many ppl complained this time that they're not going to raise the ptz of the prizes for next month~~ not encouraging you to do so but lol if you want to, no-one can stop you XD

I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't cancel orders unless there are legitimate reasons and evidence to back it up because if they randomly cancel orders, everyone would go wacko and complain!! lol I saw people threatening them on facebook to complain about their website to BBB (Better Business Bureau) If you're not sure why they've cancel your order then I think you should e-mail Kathy to clear things up?

Anyways, I've waited for over 14 hours? can't remember.. woke up at 4 in the morning just to get something and luckily i got something! so really no pain = no gain >.< If you don't give up something you won't get something~ this case.. i gave up my time...

we'll see if its totally legit when people start getting prizes, && I've just received their confirming e-mail today so i hope my prize would come soon!! so tired of waiting.
