Thread: Save on tea!

So following with my teacher gifts baskets, I found the best deal on tea. Save on Foods had Lipton tea on for $2.14 a piece and I had $1 coupons for all three. So, $1.14 each. But it gets better! After I had paid I realized that the tea did not go in at the sale price but rather at $4.29 each so, you guessed it, I got a SCOP and so the final price for each one was .43 each!!! So for under $1, I got both the tea and the coffee for each of their gift baskets (see Melitta time thread). Now all I have to do is bake the four different kinds of treats for their baskets and their Christmas gift is complete. Yeah!!
Oh, my other cutie had to be in this picture...

Bah haha. Where are you located? EXACT same thing happened to me in Red Deer, AB... and the CS even said "oh, those darn teas. Still not fixed!" ...or something to that effect. I got SCOP too, but only had one, lol. How were yours 43 cents after all was said and done? one shoulda been free, then the $2.14 for the rest... with the coupons... or did it all go funky and get cheaper cuz they refunded money and stuff?

I am in BC! Crazy! It works out to .43 each because I got one free plus made a dollar from the coupon on it and the other 2 worked out to $1.14 each (with the coupon taken off so.. total price paid for the three of them was $1.28 divided by 3= .43 each. Does that make sense?
